These terms apply to your use of the Webtract website and to the services we provide. By using this website or asking us to work for you, you agree to them.
1. About us
Webtract is a South African web agency that provides website development, website design and website maintenance. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +27 78 635 0274.
2. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it. We work hard to keep the information accurate, but we do not promise it is always complete or up to date.
3. Quotes and agreements
We give each client a quote describing the work, the price and the timing. Work starts once you accept the quote. Prices and timing are as stated in your quote. Extra work outside the quote is quoted separately and agreed before we start.
4. Payment
Payment terms (such as deposits and due dates) are set out in your quote. We may pause work or maintenance if an invoice is not paid on time.
5. What we need from you
To finish on time, you agree to give us the text, photos, logos and other content we ask for, and to give feedback promptly. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, all content you give us.
6. Ownership
Once your final payment is made, you own the content and the finished website made for you. We keep the right to reuse our general tools, code techniques and know-how, and to show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
7. Maintenance
If you choose a maintenance service, what it covers is listed in your quote. Maintenance does not include building new pages or features unless we agree that in writing.
8. Third-party services
Your website may rely on other companies, such as hosting, domain names, payment providers or WhatsApp. We are not responsible for outages or changes made by those companies.
9. Limits of liability
We take care with our work, but no website can be guaranteed to be free of faults or always online. To the fullest extent the law allows, Webtract is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
11. Cancelling
Either of us may end an agreement by telling the other in writing. You will pay for work already done up to that point.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
